Easily Manage Large Tracker Installations

Eclipse TMS reduces the administration overhead of managing multi-site Tracker installations. It provides functions to manage Tracker applications and configuration changes through a familiar Windows GUI.

Wizards are used to walk you through the different functions, such as the process of adding a new Tracker. Any connection settings are remembered for the future. Once a Tracker has been added, the software will automatically 'discover' its details such as product type, serial number and firmware version, and will back up all of the configuration files. Each Tracker can be assigned a description and Trackers can be grouped together to suit your organisational structure.

Multi-User

Eclipse TMS is a multi-user application. Users can be authenticated via their Windows log-in or Active Directory, or the credentials can be handled locally by Eclipse TMS. Password policies are supported to ensure that users create suitably secure passwords and change them regularly. Administrators can create a hierarchy of user groups to define the permissions of a user's capabilities within Eclipse TMS and the Trackers that they can manage.

Integration

Eclipse TMS will integrate with our other products - Eclipse AMS and Eclipse Privilege. The integration allows for common configuration elements, such as group hierarchies, permissions and individual Trackers to be shared across the applications, reducing the burden of repetitive administrative duties. As a stand-alone system Eclipse TMS will connect to Trackers directly. When integrated with Eclipse Privilege (Active Directory required), Eclipse TMS will perform its connections through Privilege instead.
